Located on the country's most easterly tip and closest to the international dateline, Gisborne boasts the world's most easterly vineyards and the first vines to see the sun each day.

The region high sunshine hours on coastal plains sheltered from the west by a range of mountains give our KONO Unoaked Chardonnay a lovely balance and graceful freshness.

It has a subtle yet complex bouquet of stonefruit, oatmeal, ripe citrus peel and a little butterscotch. The palate has an elegant mineral texture, long soft finish and is a deep straw colour.
