KONO Half Shell Mussels with Tomato & Lemon Fondue

Heat and eat, no mess, no fuss and perfect for any occasion. Who said the fondue ever went out of fashion?

(Serves 4)

4 packets KONO Heat n Eat Flavoured mussels in the Half Shell (frozen)
500 mls of tomato juice
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp black pepper
1 onion finely diced
2 lemons zested

  • Bring tomato juice, garlic, pepper, onion and lemon zest to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes until reduced by 1/3. 
  • Remove from heat and pour into a serving vessel. 
  • Heat mussels as per on-pack instructions. 
  • Arrange around tomato and leek fondue and serve with lemon wedges.

Enjoy.
