Beurre Bosc
The Beurre Bosc pear with its rich melting flesh is a popular favourite. This medium to large rough skinned pear has a long tapering neck and russeted skin, giving it an appealing golden look. The Beurre Bosc has firm flesh and a grainy texture.
Comice
This pear is medium-sized or larger with yellowish-green skin covered with speckles and an occasional red blush. With sweet juicy flesh, the Comice is delicate and finely textured with sweet, tender and aromatic flavours.
